Nylon

Nylon powder coatings are a high-performance protective finish designed for components that require exceptional durability, wear resistance and chemical protection.

What is Nylon?

Nylon is a synthetic polymer that is known for being incredibly strong, lightweight, flexible and resistant to wear, which is why it is commonly used in automotive parts and other industrial industries. When used as a powder coating, nylon is ground into a fine powder and applied to a metal surface using heat. As the powder melts, it flows into a smooth continuous layer that bonds to the metal. Once cooled, it forms a tough, protective coating that is high resistant to abrasion, impact, chemicals and corrosion.
